Home Open Letter: "When will Quebec's mining laws respect the rights of Indigenous Peoples?"

228 people, including members of many Indigenous Nations, professors from numerous universities, independent mining experts, lawyers, members of environmental organizations, and citizens directly affected by mining projects in Quebec and across the continent, have co-signed an open letter entitled "When will Quebec's mining laws respect the rights of Indigenous Peoples?" This letter was published in the Ideas section of the daily Le Devoir.

Sophie Thériault, Thierry Rodon, researchers of the MinErAL network, and Louise Nachet, a doctoral student at MinErAL, are among the signatories.
