Calls for proposals are open within the MinErAL Network. This year, the network will prioritize research projects that are part of the work packages 4 – Indigenous legal and political rights and 6 – Glocal Encounters. The network will also offer two postdoctoral fellowships of $45 000 each for a one-year duration. The goal of these fellowships is to encourage postdoctoral fellows to develop their research within the MinErAL Network and to facilitate the integration of comparative perspectives within the postdoctoral research. Finally, for the year 2020, the MinErAL Network wants to encourage knowledge mobilization and transfer activities directed towards indigenous and non-indigenous communities, nations and organizations. With this call, we also aims to increase our partners and stakeholders’ awareness of the activities performed in our four geographic research areas. This is why researchers that have already received funding from the MinErAL network are eligible for additional funds intended to knowledge transfer activities. Those activities may consist of organizing a workshop in an aboriginal community, a short training seminar, creating a podcast and so on. Applicants must submit their proposals before November, 10 2019.
